The last show before Christmas at Harmony House Theatre is Sunday, December 21st at 8 p.m. with Ten Strings and a Goat Skin and Friends and their show entitled “The Strings and Goats of Christmas Fun(d)raiser”. The group will donate their show proceeds to “Santa’s Angels” to buy Christmas gifts for Island children in need. They are also dedicating the concert to the memory of Dr. Anne Steele who loved Christmas and kids.

With humour and seemingly ceaseless energy, group members, brothers Rowen & Caleb Gallant and Jesse Périard, are known for integrating modern & world rhythms with traditional & original tunes to create a fiery, contagious vibe and unique sound that is increasingly catching the attention of Canadian & international stages.  With a musicality beyond their years, they ensnare audiences right from the first note while they create an atmosphere that is pure fun.

Awarded MUSIC PEI’s 2012 Roots Traditional Recording of the Year, nominated for 2012 ECMA Roots Traditional Group Recording of the Year and MPEI 2013 Spincount Touring Artist of the Year for their debut album, Tri”, they continue to make waves with last year’s launch of their bilingual cd “Corbeau”(produced by Lennie Gallant) and a lengthy touring resume which includes the premier Maritime folk festivals & showcases.

Tickets for the show are $20 and can be purchased by calling the venue at 964-2255, on-line through the venue website at www.harmonyhousetheatre.com or at the door, subject to availability.
