“She is definitely an artist with a vision of how to use her wonderful voice and pair it up with songs that truly move you as a listener.” Maverick UK

Meaghan Blanchard is a singer/songwriter from Hunter River PEI.  She draws a lot of her inspiration for performing and songwriting from her grandparents and the memories of the Saturday night dances at community halls around the Island where she got to hear them play.

Meaghan was a national CCMA Discovery artist finalist for 2015 and performed at this year’s CCMA weekend in Halifax. A new single and video, “Haul the Heavy Load” were released in June. They were the follow up to the single and video to “Crash” released in February, 2015.

Her album “She’s Gonna Fly” earned Meaghan her second ECMA award in April 2014 along with two Music PEI awards in January 2014. Her second album “Chasin’ Lonely Again” was also an ECMA award winner in 2011.

Her first album “Changing Things” picked up four Music PEI awards in 2009 including “Folk Album of the Year” and received two ECMA nominations.

Harmony House planning for your health and safety

This summer, Harmony House Theatre has worked together with the Chief Public Health Office of P.E.I. to be able to host audiences with the clearest of safety standards. Audiences will be limited to less than 50 people per night, seated and physically distanced in groups of 4 or 6 seats. Enjoy the night close to your 'bubble' of family and friends, while feeling safe and comfortable.

If you would like more guidance on our health and safety measures, and our COVID-19 Operations Plan, please leave a message with the venue: 902-964-2255

Through these challenging times, many have turned to music and laughter to lift spirits. We’re committed to putting on a show for those of our audience members who would appreciate that lift, right now.
